The GP-Series' splash proof Keyboard, Display and Base meet IP-65 requirements.  Dust-tight and protected against water jets allows for the GP-Series to be washed with water and causing no harm at all to this high precision industrial balance.

IP-65 Rating - The "6" means "Dust tight.  No ingress of dust."  The "5" means "Protected against water jets.  Water projected by a nozzle against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effect."
